PRIVATE TOUR: KAYAK OR SUP RIO BARU TOUR
This is a great option for a shorter paddle or kayak through a calm river, the Rio Baru. You'll start at the river mouth and head up river for about a mile and a half. Much of the local wildlife lives or visits the river daily. You have the possibility to see up to 30 species of tropical birds (herons, hawks, ospreys, falcons, kingfishers, etc). There are also crabs, monkeys, sloths, raccoons, iguanas, basilisk (“Jesus Christ lizards”), crocodiles, snakes, and more. This is a great option for beginners so all skill levels welcome and has about 1.5 hours of paddling/kayaking time. You can choose from Double-Kayaks,
Single Kayaks or Stand Up Paddle Boards. This tour runs from December through August.
