PRIVATE TOUR: GUIDED MONTEVERDE NATURE WALKS
Enjoy a private guided tour of the Curi Cancha Nature Reserve. Owned since 1970, this privately owned land has been re-forested and is 83 hectares (205 acres) of prime cloud forest. The reserve is lesser known and smaller than the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve but just as dense with wildlife. There are more than 200 bird species calling this place home and many mammals can be seen such as armadillo, coati, agouti, kinkajou, ocelot, two-toed sloth and three species of monkeys. Enjoy an early morning walk or an afternoon walk on the 7 km of trails. With less crowds, you'll be able to see more animals like the elusive resplendent quetzel, whether you're a birder or not, it's always a treat to see! Your expert naturalist guide will show you all of the exceptional fauna and flora of the area, as well as share information about Monteverde and its natural history.
