The Arenal National Park has excellent walking trails so it's easy for everyone. The park has a mature forest, dry forest & different micro-climates in a small areas. There is a great variety of plants, lava fields and much of the local wildlife calls this park home. You'll learn the history of this volcano that used to be called "Arenal Mountain" but earned its name of Arenal Volcano. After a nice morning hike you'll go to Arenal Lake and get on a boat to enjoy a chef made lunch with a view!
