Gandoca is a small village one hour away from the popular Puerto Viejo beaches. You will be picked up from your Puerto Viejo hotel, drive the 1 hour to Gandoca, and start your unique tour with a boat ride in the Gandoca Lagoon. On a clear night the stars are magnificent and you'll look for caimans, birds (both nocturnal and sleeping) and all the other animals that call this lagoon home. This tour is especially good for those looking for amphibians as there are many different species of frogs that you're sure to see at the water's edge. After your boat tour you will enjoy a delicious Caribbean meal prepared by a local family
