​PRIVATE TOUR:  GANDOCA LAGOON VIA KAYAK OR BOAT TOUR

There are two options to visit the Gandoca Lagoon, either in a Boat or a Kayak and in the morning or in the afternoon. 

The Boat tour is easy for everyone as there is only a little walk to the Lagoon and not much physical work.

The kayak on he other hand is quite a workout!

After a 1 hour drive we will arrive at the little village Gandoca, which is located down towards the border of Panama on the South East side of Costa Rica. During this tour you will have the possibility to observe the unique ecosystems of the Lagoon. You can see the different flora and fauna in this protected area. There is also the Mangrove forest, where you’ll  learn why its protection and existence is so important for the environment. We will make a little stop on the beach and have some snacks and you can also enjoy some time exploring the beach side. On the way back we will pass by a Banana Plantation (we will not go inside as it is not allowed but) where we will give an explanation about the Banana production. ​The tour is available in Spanish or English.
